Raw ingredients are sourced nationally and internationally to provide a large variety of products that patients need, with some only available overseas. Other benefits include the preparation of medications in a liquid suspension for enhanced administration, accurate alteration of doses and added flavours for palatability. Some flavours include apple, banana, caramel, and peppermint. All compounding is done on site by a pharmacist, or a trained technician under the supervision of a pharmacist. Pittwater Pharmacy has a fast turnaround time of under two working days, with many compounds being available for pick up on the same day.
